The deadline for entering the North American Hunting Club / Nikon E-S-T contest is coming up fast. If you let the Holidays go by in a blur, the opportunity will be gone and all you’ll have to show for it is a New Year’s Eve hangover instead of a shiny new Nikon Hunting Optics package.
What’s E-S-T? Why it’s “Extraordinary Situation Testing” of course!
We tried to tell you months ago, but maybe you weren’t listening … or reading?
Well, that’s okay, if you don’t already know about E-S-T, then you’ve got some pleasurable viewing ahead of you.
The North American Hunter TV crew put together a series of videos that tested the new Nikon Monarch 3 binoculars is some simulated and some not-so-simulated hunting conditions. We specifically grilled them on the protocol of the wett-EST, dirti-EST, dark-EST, cold-EST, and all-around tough-EST hunting conditions.
There’s also an “intro” video that reveals the legend of how all this came about. It’s an enduring, endearing tale of technology against the elements and an innocent country boy’s long and winding journey to manhood. You’ve got to check these out.

All entries must be posted at the www.huntingclub.com/nikonEST site by midnight on December 31st. We want to hear your E-S-T (Extraordinary Situation Testing) stories. After the close of the contest NAHC and Nikon will work together in selecting the winning stories and announce them at Nikon’s booth at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show in Las Vegas the third week in January. Top prize is a Nikon hunting optics package valued at more than $1,600.
