Entry deadline for the Quebec Outfitters Federation and the Quebec Tourism Department’s 2012 “Quebec Ultimate Destination” Sweepstakes (or “Contest” as they call it in Canada) is June 30. Don’t miss this chance to enter the biggest and best version of this sweepstakes yet.
What sets the QUD Sweepstakes apart is you get to pick exactly the prize you want to win when you enter in each of three categories – Antlers, Black Bear and Fish. And you can enter to win in each of the categories.
For example, in the Black Bear category this year, you can select from eight different outfitters who would love to have you join them for a hunt in 2013. In fact, one of them is Le Domaine Shannon who I hunted with so successfully this spring for Outfitters Rating TV. The photo with this blog is of the bear I took there and the lead guide, EZ!
By clicking on the name of each operation, you’re taken directly to his their websites so you can research the outfitter just as if you were booking your own hunt. Then once you choose the outfitter you’d most like to hunt with you make your entry to hunt with that operation if you are the grand prize winner. Same goes for the Antlers and Fishing categories.
Finally, you’ll be joined on the hunt or fishing trip you win by the host and camera crew of a big name television show like Cabela’s Ultimate Adventures. Even if you aren’t lucky enough to win a grand prize trip, there are dozens of other great prize packages provided by QUD partners like Cabela’s, Federal, Nikon, Plano, Weaver, Yamaha and Garmin.
In 2011 there were winners in four categories who will be taking their hunts this year. They are: Antlers – Kevin Kehoe (I’ll be joining Kevin on his hunt for caribou this September in Quebec’s Far North), Black Bear – Gerald North, Birds/Upland Game – Richard Huppe, Fishing – Marde Austin. You can check out the long list of other winners, too, just by clicking on the “Winners” navigation tab at the site.
Even though the clock’s ticking, if you still need inspiration to enter the 2012 QUD Sweepstakes check under the “TV Shows” tab and click on the video player buttons to watch exciting hunts and fishing trips taped in the wilds of incredibly diverse (and gigantic) Quebec!
