I’ve tried a lot of clothing and have battled finding the perfect fit with the ability to perform and handle the elements of nature. From little boys clothing to sub-par huntress clothing lines (that are really only meant for a woman to either sit in a blind or look cute in camp), the entire clothing situation has been absolute misery for me.
My worst clothing experience was last year on a mountainous hunt. I needed to climb which meant lifting my leg and bending my knee; my pants prohibited movement so terribly that I had to gather my pants above the knee with every step I took which was a life risk because of the slate-like rock -one bad step I would’ve been toast!
But there is a company that I’ve been wearing for nearly 10 years now; I had previously been using it exclusively for African safaris/warmer temperatures, but recently discovered the extensive line of clothing offered for cold temperatures and fishing clothes (in preparing for Spain). SheSafari really does specialize in women hunters… by that I mean women that HUNT!
Just like SheSafari’s ladies safari attire, while in Spain I discovered that her fishing and warm-weather clothing is incredibly effective for climbing, going through thick brush with thorns, is well made and durable, perfect at keeping me either ventilated, cool or warm and is very flattering!
As Warren Buffett says “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get”. SheSafari Clothing is priced equal to the sub-par options and you get great value for your dollar. After all, if the clothes don’t fit properly, you can’t swing a shotgun or climb mountains… and if you can’t do that, then you can’t hunt!
I want to hear of your experiences wearing boys/mens or sub-par clothing as a huntress!
