Hey all — last week I told you about Green Beans Coffee’s “Cup of Joe for a Joe” program. I bought ten Joes a cup of coffee at two bucks each at the greenbeanscoffee.com website. Super easy … just a few clicks of the mouse.
Each Joe who gets a cup of joe I bought also receives the personal message I sent with them. I basically said what a privilege it was to tour Landstul and the bases “down range” and meet so many of them. I mentioned how meaningful it has been to me and how they deserve more thanks than we can possibly give them. The cool part is they can reply … and they do! As of this posting, I’ve already received three great responses. They are so wonderful, I thought I’d share them with you:

Bill, Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for the cup-of-joe. It is nice to know that there are folks such as yourself who support us in what we do. I also would like to thank you for being a part of the Legends Tour. I wish I could have met you in person. I appreciate that you took the time, money, and effort to experience just a touch of what we go through. It is nice to know that our efforts do not go unnoticed. With people, such as yourself, at home supporting us we will assuredly persevere in our duties here. It is because of our families, friends, and great Americans such as yourself that we do that which our nation asks of us. I pray that the good Lord above blesses you for your care and concern for us.
